Vix oversees marketing, finance, staff development, and training while also showcasing her skills with scissors and color. Since establishing XIV in 2014, her goal has been to enhance the local hair and beauty experience. She aimed to minimize salon visits from the traditional 6-8 weeks by developing a signature technique focused on lived-in, dimensional, and fluid styles, which she trained her staff to replicate. This approach respects clients’ time while still allowing them to look fabulous. Vix values the connections with clients and believes less frequent visits lead to richer conversations during appointments.
